Farzana Rahman is the Founder and Director of The Desi Doll Company, a pioneering UK-based business specialising in innovative, interactive Islamic educational toys. Since founding the company in 2008, Farzana has been at the forefront of the Islamic toy industry, creating a range of fun and engaging faith-inspired products that make learning about Islam joyful and accessible for children.
The Desi Doll Company has achieved significant milestones, including winning the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade (2020), the Inclusive Innovation Award from Innovate UK (2023), and recognition as SME Business of the Year at the Saverah Awards (2023). Farzana herself has been honoured as Business Woman of the Year (Islam Channel Awards, 2022) and Entrepreneur of the Year (Muslim Women Awards, 2021).
